With a massive 80,755 active monthly users at the time we compiled this review the Bingo Blitz Facebook App appears to be, at first glance, one of the most popular available on the biggest social networking site online. This instantly whets our free bingo appetite and we were excited to get going with Bingo Blitz.
As is standard with any of these apps on Facebook we had to allow permission for:
• Access to basic information
• Bingo Blitz to email us directly
• Access to our profile information namely our birthday.
This is, in essence, also accepting the Terms and Conditions laid out by Bingo Blitz as well.
On accessing the app for the first time there is a short tutorial on how to play. Bingo Blitz instantly gives you 15 free credits every day that you access the app on Facebook and these are used to buy cards. Once you have gone through the tutorial you are ready to play the game! You need to choose a flag to represent you first and then away you go. We received 500 coins for playing one day in a row and apparently this increases dependant on the continuous number of days that you play at Bingo Blitz. Coins are used to purchase items from the store.
Playing Bingo at Bingo Blitz
The game is 75 ball bingo and you can only purchase a maximum of 4 cards on each of the games. Bingo can be called on four corners, a horizontal line or a vertical line. Throughout the game at Bingo Blitz you can earn power ups and Treasure Chests and this all adds to a great gaming experience. Each game has, whether a bingo winner or not will pay out Experience points, Coins, and Credits with Keys, Power Ups and Team Points being awarded also if you manage to win bingo as one of the first three players (or least that it was appears to happen). The number of players who buy tickets determines how many players can win bonuses for each round so it does vary.
Throughout the game of bingo you can also earn Power Ups by correctly matching certain numbers that are hit, you can release the treasure chests on to your board and should you mark the numbers off that these fall on you will earn extra bonuses at the end of each round.
Bingo cards have to be marked manually and the computer doesn’t play catch up for you but that a bonus and enhances the gaming experience of Bingo Blitz in my opinion.
These are used throughout the game and your Power Up fills with the more numbers that you mark off on your bingo cards so it makes sense to “max out” and get all four bingo cards on each game. A couple of examples are:
Add two random free spaces to each of your cards in play
Add a random Treasure Square to each of your cards in play
Once a Power Up is used you then have a cooling off period in which marking numbers does not fill your Power Up back up.
To be honest I didn’t even spend the time looking in the Store for how to spend my credits or look at the Free Gifts on offer because these don’t overly interest me on Bingo Blitz or any other Facebook App however what I will say is that Bingo Blitz rocks! So far this is the best app I have reviewed; it’s interactive and grabs your attention so much more than most free bingo games available on the net!
Bingo Blitz gets a massive double thumbs up from me!
