The most recent big winner at land bingo, Christine Bradfield, has said that she plans on sharing her winnings with her sister-in-law, Lorraine after making a pledge many moons ago that any winnings would be shared 50/50.

Christine won a staggering £1.1 million at her local Castle Bingo Hall.

This begs the question - to split or not to split?

Keeping a close eye in the voting for Roomie of the Year at BingoCMVote and knowing all things bingo, it has been bought to my attention that not only are the playground comments being posted actually on the site, some players are even resorting to emailing the contenders with abuse.

Being a bingo player but now knowing too much about what all the fuss is about the taxation on bingo, our Mr. Simon Collins is the man who knows all that, I was quite impressed to find this little ditty and the little old ladies dancing around really made me laugh!

Using Gala Wiz

| | Comments (0)

During my visit the Gala Bingo hall in Poole yesterday I thought I would try out the Gala Wiz, the electronic way to play bingo.

My husband came with me and being the type to shy away from change, he chose to stick with the paper tickets whilst I thought I would brave the Wiz.

Yesterday was the first time that I have visited my local bingo hall since the smoking ban has come into force and as a smoker I was avoiding going - two hours without a cigarette or standing in the rain alone???

The mission I set myself today, and yes, I chose to accept it - was to trawl the net and see if I could actually find some jokes specifically about bingo.

The first one I found made me giggle for no other reason that I am BETTY!!

Q.) What do you call a lady who likes to play bingo?

A.) BETTY!

As an avid player at Bingo Cafe UK's online bingo site and registered for their newsletter each week I receive a reminder of the £1000 Prize Draw and each week religiously I usually forget. Not this week, this week I decided that I would take myself and my 8 entry tickets (not a huge amount of tickets but still, you have to be in it to win it right?) and go and see how my luck was.

Quite a few online bingo sites are now incorporating 80 ball bingo on their software. Is this going to replace 75 ball bingo in the UK?

What is the difference between 75 & 90 ball bingo?

Well apart from the obvious 15 numbers!

A short answer is 75 ball usually you only have one chance to win - 90 ball you have 3 chances to win, but lets me go into a little more detail.

My time as a Chat Host - part 1

| | Comments (0)

Having spent a little time working at an online bingo site as a chat monitor I don't profess to be the oracle but there are some definite requirements for taking on the role of a chat host.

First at foremost you need to have a great personality!! If you are lacking in this area in real life then you aren't going to be able to express a personality in the real world! You need to be able to laugh at yourself and with others but know the limitations and the invisible line at online bingo that cannot be crossed. As a chat host you are what brings players back, the forefront of the sites online bingo community.
