Wink Bingo Mini game rescheduled

The Wink Bingo Mini game has been rescheduled due to "technical difficulties" according to their online bingo site, the game will now be taking place on Sunday, January 10th at 9pm. Details in the New Year Mini room state the "due to an overwhelming demand" their bingo system was overloaded and the scheduled game did not play. Now whilst we understand that this can happen, surely the sale of tickets should have stopped! ]]> Wink Bingo?

I believe, and this is merely my opinion, that when the technical issues arose, sales of bingo tickets for the game should have ceased. The players who all had their tickets all now see their chances of winning diminishing as even more players buy tickets for the game. A sweetener was offered to the players who had tickets in the game prior to the time it should have played, one extra ticket each for free. However, what happens for a player who had already purchased the maximum amount of tickets - 48 at £5 each? Did they get a £5 refund?

Maybe I'm just an old cynic but to my mind technical issues because of overwhelming demand, well surely with even MORE players now, won't the same issues arise again on 10th January?

Maybe not, after all, the value of the car may have been made up in the sale of online bingo tickets at Wink Bingo by then. Bingo calls go PC

In a traditional game of bingo there are 90 numbers however there are far more bingo calls than that used in both land based and online bingo. However if some Councillors get their way, the bingo calls will go PC (politically correct) if newspaper articles over the last couple of days are anything to go by! ]]>
This is beyond the ridiculous because whilst a small minority may take offence, short of the bingo caller standing and pointing at two rotund ladies in the bingo hall, who could be so upset by a game of bingo that they would feel the need to consult a solicitor.

Shouldn't it be a case of majority rules? Obviously not in the UK! This is just political correctness gone overboard so here are some bingo balls we think might be for the chop and why:

Number 5 - Man Alive - Feminists may feel its too gender specific
Number 15 - Young and Keen - could be consider ageist with an implication that the elderly aren't keen
Number 28 - Overweight - could lead to litigation from anyone consider medically overweight
Number 67 - Made in Heaven - may offend the non-believers amongst us

Someone needs to give these Councillors a serious shake and then slap them in the face with a wet kipper, they definitely seem to be losing their grip on reality!

However after being open a little while now the Giggle Bingo bonus drops to just £5 for new players to their site.
