Global Lottery
According to sources around the internet Camelot has signed up for what is to be a huge global lottery. Whilst this news is not bingo related it is still of interest to those of us that like a little flutter on the National Lottery because the prize money is reported at being around £250 million per draw in this new global lottery and that's definitely not something any of us want to miss out on!
According to the times the new global lottery agreement has been signed by both Camelot and the operators of the largest US lottery, Powerball. Back in September Camelot spoke to the Daily Telegraph about negotiations with 40 countries to bring this "super lottery" to fluition. Well now the agreement has been signed how long before we actually see this new global lottery?
According to the article in The Times we could see this huge global lottery as early as 2011 and whilst the actual agreement is described as "exploratory" we could soon be seeing something much bigger than the current Euromillions!
Further reports suggest that this global lottery will consist of a weekly draw that will be played across all time zones; rumours are that this is to be a global lottery designed to rollover multiple times to create a humungous jackpot! Tickets are suggested at costing £1.50, the same price that is currently paid to buy a ticket for the Euromillions.
Will you be one of the hundred of thousands of people likely to play this global lottery? After all, someone has to win and "it could be you!"
