David Dickinson the over tanned antique dealer who is famous in the world of day time television has a habit of turning everything he touches into gold. He uses the charm that has made him famous to woo his legions of female fans to tune into everything he puts his name to. The world of online bingo has spotted his talents and now William Hill Bingo Sponsors The Real Deal TV Show.

William Hill Bingo who previously sponsored Spin Star last November have swapped over to David Dickinson's Real Deal for a four month period starting this week to raise awareness of the William Hill bingo brand and attract new customers. The show is ideal as it is aimed directly at the demographic that online bingo tends to appeal to. The strapline of the new sponsorship is "William Hill Bingo Thrill' which ties in nicely with the show where participants get to choose whether they want to accept the dealers offer or go for the thrill of an auction sale.

Lili Huang a William Hill Spokesperson says "For an initial foray into actual programme sponsorship, we were very pleased with the response from the Spin Star association. We're delighted to have this opportunity of sponsoring the Real Deal, because the programme has the potential for a far bigger audience with its current scheduling". The Real Deal is aired on ITV1 Monday to Friday between 2pm to 3pm; prime day time television with a massive audience.

William Hill gave their unluckiest gamblers a special if slightly late Christmas present this week, a free £1,000 bet. The lucky or should that be unluckiest man Paul Greenwood from Barnsley lost out on a potential £795,000 win in 2008 when he places his usual weekly £10 accumulator bet on 14 football teams winning over the weekend. But sadly after initially included his favourite team, at the last second changed his mind, and replaced Manchester United who were playing Fulham with Arsenal who were playing Aston Villa. His first thirteen teams won but Arsenal only managed a draw so instead of a £795,000 profit he actually ended up with a £10 loss.
