Cashino launches new look

HJM Caterers have recently been taken over by Praesepe Plc, a London based management firm, after securing a £25 million deal. 31 stores in total were included in the sale and the news is that there is to be a new look to things. Reading through some of the industry news apparently Cashino launches new look for the old HJM Caterers which will be a high impact design to give them a stronger presence in the high street.

The news original broke of Aldgate Capital (now renamed Praesepe Plc) purchasing HJM Caterers and E&J Hall investments back in July 2008. The £25 million price tag was said to have been £22 million in cash and the issue of 13.63 million shares. These two companies trade under the name of Shipleys Amusements and operate 31 adult gaming venues throughout the UK

I wonder why the choice has been made for the name Cashino? If you take a look around the sector of UK Adult Gaming Centres then you will have heard of the Barcrest Group and one of their games is called Ca$hino. It's a five reel slot with 20 paylines with bonus features. Are Praesepe Plc cashing in on this name?

I don't profess to know too much about the land based casino or adult gaming industry but the news that Cashino launches new look was quite interesting least of all because of the amount of cash that changed hands!

New additions to the board of Praesepe Plc following the acquisition where Sarah Ball who is now the Chief Financial Officer and Charles Blair Sinton who becomes Non-Exectutive Director.

Previously Sarah Ball has been a Director of Unibet whilst Charles Blair Sinton was a director in the Gala Group.
