Online Bingo - it's all in the name!

It wasn't only the ladies names that proved lucky; BingoPort also provide us with the names of the luckiest men and in first place is a name carried by our very own heir to the thrown, Prince Charles.

The unluckiest female name however seems to be Mandy with Lucy, Irene and Shirley lagging not so far behind in the luck stakes. For the men its Jeremy, Geoff, Shaun and Patrick that seem to be missing out on the visits from Lady Luck though.

These are the top ten lists for both men and women according to the study carried out by BingoPort.

It's great to see that my name; yes Betty is my pseudonym; comes in at number 4!

However this study does beg the question are the unusual names not ranking in the list simply because there aren't that many bingo players named Austen for example? If you take a look at the top ten for both male and female names all the names listed are fairly popular names. Will we see this list change in 10 years to list names like Brooklyn, Porsche, and Tiffany as the minors of today graduate to playing online bingo?

I must stress none of my children bear any of the names listed but neither are they burden with some of the rather outlandish names people choose for their children nowadays.
