Online bingo for men

Very nice if you are single but what if he had been in a committed relationship? Is this really the only way that some online bingo sites feel they can attract the male population to play online bingo?

The email received, word for word, said

70% of our players are female and they are waiting for you to play with them!

Dear XXX

Here at XXXXXX Bingo we know that men love to play bingo too. If you have a few minutes to kill why not hop on to the bingo and meet people from all around the UK? Who knows, someone special could be waiting for you!

The email then goes on to list the specials available at the bingo site in question but for me, and I'm female, this email is very sexist in its method.

The bold statement at the beginning of the email is quite suggestive as if all female bingo players are women desperate to find a man and what does it say about the bingo sites perception of its male demographic? That they are all equally desperately lonely single men who will try anything to get a girlfriend?

Surely a better marketing method might be to offer more male orientated promotions? I know that the bingo site that sent this email is currently offering jewellery as a promotion and none of it is geared towards the male gender.

So rather than send emails that are suggestive to your male demographic simply have some more male orientated promotions - offer some new gadget or other, a years subscription to PlayBoy or something (after all you obviously have quite a low opinion of your male bingo players).
