Gala Bingo player scoops £32,000 win

One lucky lady from Scotland is laughing all the way to the bank after taking home a jackpot win of £32,000 from her local Gala Bingo club in Townhead, Irvine. The 63 year old grandmother managed to call bingo in just 42 numbers to take home this superb win on Saturday according to The Evening Times Online.
This lucky winner is married with two children and one grandchild and is said to be "absolutely delighted" with her win, who wouldn't be? The lucky lady has been playing bingo for "a very long time" and visits her local Gala Bingo hall two or three times a week. She has been a member of Gala Bingo Irvine since it opened and plans on treating herself to a new car and splashing out to treat all of her family.

The actual jackpot on Saturday night was over £60,000 but this lucky winner had to share with another from Hull splitting the pot equally.

Her winnings were made up of the house prize of £210, the Regional prize of £2,100 and then her half share of the big National Bingo jackpot. Over 470 clubs joined in the game on Saturday and the two lucky winners both called bingo in just 42 numbers.

The winner said about Gala Bingo "The staff at Gala Bingo are really friendly and always make you feel very welcome when you visit their bingo hall. I am so excited about my win."
