Mirror Bingo charity day
Online bingo site Mirror Bingo recently held a charity day to raise money for the charity Children with Leukaemia and it proved to be a roaring success with over £13,000 raised for the charity.
According to the report at Mirror Bingo all their bingo players got behind this charity day and the occasional star popped into chat for a game of bingo and a natter including Linda Robson and Fiona Phillips. Questions were flying thick and fast to the celebs from the rooms and GammonQueen got in quick asking Fiona if she missed Strictly Come Dancing to which Fiona quickly replied "never again"
Even the CM's got a few questions in with CH Sqwerty asking Linda Robson if there were any similarities between her real life hubby and the one in the sitcom Birds of a Feather to which Linda responded "I could send him to jail sometimes...do you know what I mean ladies?"
Although Carol Vorderman was supposed to attend this online bingo event unfortunately she was tied up with filming on the day but as an avid bingo fan she has promised to attend the next charity event held by Mirror Bingo.
Mirror Bingo's manager will be keeping in close contact with the charity to see how the money raised has been making a difference and will be keeping the bingo players at Mirror Bingo up to date with what is happening.
The £13,000 was made up of the charity day's profit plus contributions from Trinity Mirror and Cashcade Ltd.
