Bingo Night Live - Melinda -v- Nichola

What is interesting about the story is that Nichola Dixon actually went for the presenter role that was given to Melinda Messenger but says she is happy to be the stats girl - you could say she is to Bingo Night Live what Carol Vorderman is to Countdown! She says in the article that her days of being teased for being a bit of a geek and a girly swat have come back to haunt her but are a blessing in helping her to land her role on Bingo Night Live.

Nichola goes on to say how she has been blown away by the amount of people who are actually participating in the bingo game despite the fact the games play late at night. Her husband, Edward, is a firefighter and even all his friends are hooked on the game.

Although I'm not privvy to the actual numbers playing nightly I do know that when I first watched a Bingo Night Live show there were just 9,000+ registered to play but by the third game in the same night the number had reached 18,000+. Watching the programme briefly last night the figures that were being quoted were in the region of 35,000+ so Bingo Night Live is becoming a huge hit with the television viewing audiences.
