Bingo News for 16th June 2008
Roger Hartley is 33 and has worked in the bingo industry for 10 years. Although the competition so far has seen him up against his colleagues in his region reaching the final means that he now faces the best of the country in his bid to be crowned National Bingo Caller of the Year.
Roger was quoted as saying about his progression to the Grand Final "I am absolutely over the moon to be in the final. The public support I have received has been phenomenal and I really feel like a true star. I am really looking forward to showing the judges what I am made of. The club I work for has always prided itself on providing the best bingo callers and I plan on keeping that reputation alive."
Should he win the coveted title then Roger will walk away with a cash prize and the opportunity to audition as a bingo caller for Gala TV.
