The site and its software has previously been reviewed on onlinebingo.net but last week they were featured in Revolution Magazine an Internet perioidcal as having spent a substantial amount of money on banner ads over the last few weeks.

It seems quite strange as Tombola Bingo is really more of a software supplier brand so far rather than a consumer facing brand.

Back in the says of the dot com boom Tombola.com was a simple games website where you could take part in various games in the hope of winning prizes. It was novel in that it was not just another lottery site along the lines of Banana Lotto or The Daily Draw, most of the games were different to the normal data capture sites launched at the same time. The top prize was £5K.

The most memorable game was Play fetch where you send a dog off to pick up a symbol which you match to a game card. Play the scratch cards and the passport game, again these games involve matching symbols or names to your game card.  Most games were playable once daily for free. Every now and again they had a guaranteed prize game. If you enjoyed competitions, lotteries, scratchcards and games of luck then this was a great site - now they are home to one of the UK's most successful bingo products.  We will follow with interest where Tombola.com manages to go next.
