Bingo News for 29th May 2008
The winner's usual night for bingo is a Tuesday and occasional she attends on a Thursday but having been left alone whilst her husband was watching football at the pub and her son was away at Cub Camp on Sunday she decided to pop along to her local Gala Bingo, and boy is she glad she did.
Her winnings were made up of the house prize of £185, the Regional / Zone prize of £1,007, the Sunday afternoon National Game prize of £8,920 and then the Platinum Jackpot prize of £177,048 and all for calling bingo in 45 numbers!
So does this lucky lady have any exciting plans for the big windfall? Only to pay for the new kitchen that has just been installed. Other than that she is going to think about her plans for the money.

Musical Bingo
A DJ in America is trying to get his listeners more involved with music and bingo combined by introducing a game called Musical Bingo. DJ Bruce Wilson had been finding getting his audience involved enough to request songs or sing along was like pulling teeth so he thought he would try an liven it up.
The game Musical Bingo is not dissimilar to ordinary bingo except the bingo numbers have been replaced with song titles. It's not clear how you actually win the game but I would imagine that if DJ Wilson plays a song and it is on your card then you mark it off. Match a pattern or get a full house and you have bingo!
