Bingo.com to expand their market

Bingo.com are planning to expand their online bingo offering further than the UK after securing a private placement of 2 million common shares at $0.30 per share. This has all come about as they are trying to raise funds so they can begin their expansion into the Spanish bingo market. The plan, according to Tarnie Williams CEO of Bingo.com is to "allow players to deposit in various major currencies".

National Bingo Platinum Ticket play-off winner

An Exeter Mecca Bingo club was the lucky venue for one bingo player who won £639,725 in the Platinum Ticket play offs, the particular clubs biggest ever pay out to date.

The lucky winner, a mother of two and grandmother to three, joined Mecca Bingo back in 1993 and plays bingo with two friends at the Exeter club every Sunday. Not only did she pocket the big win but early in the evening had won £60! Lady Luck was definitely sitting on this lucky ladies shoulder!

Her prize money was made up of the house prize of £199, the Regional prize of £3,260, the National Game prize of £74,960 and the Platinum Jackpot of £561,306, all of this for calling bingo in just 45 bingo numbers.

So what are the lucky winner's big plans for the win? First on the list is a garden shed for her husband, something she said he has wanted for ages just so he can get the lawnmower out of the garage!
