Agyness Deyn, reported to be the new Kate Moss prefers a night at bingo then a heavy night drinking and dancing at a night club according to her mates. One of her friends is reported as saying "A few shandies and marking off her bingo numbers is her idea of a good night out" - could the bingo call for the number 10 change from Gordon's Den to Agy's Den?

Plans to demolish bingo hall on hold.
It was definitely Lucky Numbers for one bingo hall in Harrogate after planning application was withdrawn just prior to a meeting of a planning committee.
The Lucky Numbers Bingo hall in Skipton Road had been purchased by developers who wanted to demolish the hall and replace with eight flats and a shop but the plans were met with many objections.

Gala withdrawal from the National Bingo Game
Despite the news that Gala Bingo are withdrawing their clubs from participating in the National Bingo game many other land based bingo halls with continue to play the games. These include:-
Many independent clubs will also continue to participate in the National Bingo Game but I imagine the withdrawal of 162 Gala Bingo halls will see a drop in the prizes available on the big game.

Armed Robbery at bingo hall
The PNSI in Co Armagh, Northern Ireland are investigating an armed robbery at a local bingo hall after three masked raiders entered the premises. The robbers threatened staff with what was believed to be a hand gun or a hammer at around 11.30pm on Friday 23rd May.
Luckily there were n patrons of the club in the bingo hall at the time but the criminals did manage to escape with what police describe as "a substantial amount of money".
