Another lucky bingo winner just two weeks away from her 66th birthday took home more than £33,000 from her local Castle Bingo Club. Barbara Powell was at her local club with two friends when she called bingo in just 4 numbers netting her the house prize of £245, the regional prize of £2,046 and the National Game Prize of 30,805.
When she realised just how much she won Barbara, who has played at the club for nine years, ran to the stage and planted a big smacker on the bingo caller Perry. Her two friends will be taking their share of the winnings as Barbara says they share all winnings even if it's only £1.
Barbara plans on treating her family including her three children and one grandchild and has some big plans for her garden this summer.

Sunday night saw the former Ritz Bingo hall in Sheffield fall foul to vandals twice in less than 24 hours seeing fire crews having to attend the site on both occasions. The first fire was reported on Sunday night and the fire crew boarded the building up to prevent anymore damage. Midday Monday the crew were called back again when smoke was seen pouring from the building.
The second fire took some three hours to put out and is currently being investigated although it is thought to have been started deliberately.
