His prize was increased as he managed to win extra because he called house on number 90. This is the number needed to call on to win the Platinum Jackpot and the prize increases weekly in house if it isn't won.
He went on to say about winning "This win really will change my life and make things so much easier for myself and my family. It is a superb feeling and the win means I won't have to pay a mortgage payment each month which is a huge relief."
This lucky winner has been playing bingo since the 1970's and usually plays at Gala Bingo in Crystal Palace but shopping in Brixton on Saturday left him running too late to get to Crystal Palace hence why he was at Camberwell for his lucky win.
Not only does he plan to pay off his mortgage but also settle his 24 year old son's student loan.

Delay on prize from Bingo Lotto
Karen Elliot from Dudley, Northumberland should have been overjoyed when she was lucky enough to win a Playstation 3 by taking part in TV's Bingo Lotto, and originally she was but some two months later she still hadn't received her prize.
She checked her numbers online to confirm she had actually won and posted her ticket off recorded delivery as instructed but still no Playstation 3.
A spokesperson for Bingo Lotto went on to explain that the mix up happened when nobody was at the home address to sign for the package and then no further attempts were made to deliver it.
Mr Justice Consumer Advice from the Sunday Sun sorted the whole business out by contacting the powers that be at Bingo Lotto and arranging for the package to be delivered to Karen's work address.
