Speed Bingo at House of Bingo

In my inbox today was an email from House of Bingo, one of the newest online bingo sites to launch using the Cozy Games software platform, telling me that "Speed Bingo" was now available at their bingo site.

Speed Bingo in my eyes means a game of bingo that plays fast, usually on a 75 ball bingo board, but this isn't the speed bingo that House of Bingo are talking about.

Well Speed Bingo is something completely different, its not 75 ball bingo, 80 ball bingo, 90 ball bingo or even multi line or Scandinavian Bingo - its' 30 ball bingo!

So what is the difference? Firstly there are only 30 bingo calls and secondly the bingo boards are only 3 x 3 with 9 numbers on them.

I can only imagine the have named it "Speed Bingo" because the game is quicker, obviously, because of the lack of numbers needed to win. The bingo caller calls at the same speed. Do I like it? Well the jury is still out on that one - is this just a ruse to get more money spent as the games last less time so more games per hour?
