Like Bingo previously held the stigma of blue rinses, bingo wings dentures Poker, to some extent held the male equivalent - old men in smoke filled dingy back rooms with mafia style stakes.
Poker is one of the most well known card games with numerous variations of the game, five card stud, Omaha, Texas Hold 'Em to name but a few - it's the game synonymous with famous cowboys like Wild Bill Hickok who was shot in the back of the head with a .45 calibre revolver by Jack McCall whilst playing poker.

Having played both online poker and online bingo both offer interaction with other players but on different levels. In bingo it's more of a friendship type game and why? Because their isn't really any skill in playing bingo, it's all luck. With poker it's part skill, part luck and sometimes you can go all in with a great hand (I'm talking Texas Hold 'Em, my game of choice) like pocket rockets, only to have someone call with a pair of two's and another two comes out on the table, but no ace.
