Mecca Bingo - record breakers?

The bosses at Mecca have contacted the Guiness Book of Records who have confirmed that as yet there is no record set for the most number of Valentine's cards received by one person.

Ha! I knew I should have contacted them last year when I received 1000's! (I wish!)

Darren said: "I was roped into this because I'm the outgoing one.I am hoping for more than one! I am hoping for a couple of thousand to get the donations up. People can send them in totally anonymously, it's just the numbers that count. It's not a serious Valentine's Day card, it's just a joke, you can just put a question mark instead of a name."

The Mecca Bingo club have pledged to donate £1 for every card Darren receives to the local hopsice.

He's not a bad looking lad so imagine that he will get a few anyway but I wonder what his girlfriend, Michelle Docherty, will say? He met her at bingo as well she was his boss! OOOOO errrrrr MRS!

Cards must be addressed to Darren and sent to Mecca Bingo, The Lanyard, Warrior Retail Park, Hartlepool, Cleveland, TS24 0XS.
