Baby brings luck for bingo player.
An unborn grandchild seems to have been a lucky mascot for one bingo player at Buckingham Bingo in Bradford.
44 year old Tracey Firth of Cleckheaton took her pregnant daughter, Gemma, along to her local bingo club and netted herself over £18,000.
Her prize pool was made up of £184 from the house prize, £2,586 from the regional prize and £15,430 from the National game.
Tracy said "We talked Gemma into coming with us even though she wasn't far away from giving birth hoping that it might shock her into labour, although it didn't happen that way she definitely bought us luck!"
Alfie, her second grandchild, made his appearance 5 days after the win and Tracey is sharing her winnings with her mother, daughter and two friends.
What a welcome to the world for little Alfie.
