80 Ball Bingo - the new 75 ball???

| | Comments (0)

Quite a few online bingo sites are now incorporating 80 ball bingo on their software. Is this going to replace 75 ball bingo in the UK?

80 ball bingo is similar, if not the same as,  "CashLine" or "ShutterBoard" played in land bingo clubs across the country. At a Mecca or Gala bingo hall you would usually play for 4 corners, line across, line down or a full house but the some online bingo sites play for "patterns"

A typical 80 ball board consists of 16 squares - 4 across and 4 down.

This is an example of 80 ball taken from an online bingo site called Bingo.com.

As you can see you would need to mark off the numbers on your board to make the "x" pattern in order to win.

So, do you think 80 ball bingo is going to replace 75 ball bingo or is it just a "one hit wonder"?
