With 2007 drawing to a close, Gala Bingo has announced the prize money given out so far as part of its High Five bingo promotion.

UK bingo players taking part in the bingo competition have scooped £2.5 million in total bingo prizes in the past three months, Gala Bingo claims.

Gala Bingo Online went on to add one lucky bingo punter had even more reason to celebrate in the summer as the real-life Gala Halls and online Gala bingo worlds joined forces on their biggest contest yet.

"Gala Bingo created the first ever bingo millionaire in July of this year through an integrated competition involving Gala TV, Gala online and Gala clubs called Kerchingo," Gala Bingo said.

On November 7th, Margaret Ann Venables claimed half of the Gala High Five UK bingo jackpot, securing £437,104, while an equivalent sum was shared between all of the other members of the Gala Bingo club where she was playing bingo.
