Photofit of bingo club raider
Police have issued an artist's impression of a man they want to interview in connection with a robbery at the Angel Bingo and Social Club on Marshfield Road in Chippenham.
At 5pm on Saturday, November 10, a man entered the club and asked about a job vacancy. Once inside he produced a knife and demanded money from a member of staff. He was handed a sum of money and left in the direction of the West End Club.
The offender is described as a white man, in his mid to late twenties, with short scruffy mousey-brown hair. He was wearing dark clothing. To help identify him police have issued an artist's impression of the man they wish to speak to in connection with the robbery.
Investigating the incident, Police Constable Ian Tilley said: "This was a frightening experience for the staff member involved and I would appeal to anyone who witnessed the incident or saw the offender before or after the robbery to get in touch.
"At the time of the robbery a black car was parked outside the bingo hall and I would also appeal to the driver of the vehicle to contact me as they may have valuable information."
Witnesses or anyone with information is asked to contact police at Chippenham Police Station on 0845 408 7000 or alternatively phone Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
