BINGO LIFELINE FOR PENSIONER

| | Comments (0)

An 82-year-old bingo fan from Hunts Cross tells National UK Bingo that the game is a "lifeline" for her.

She adds that a recent £20,000 win is to benefit her family as she is "not money minded".

"I have been a widow for over ten years and, win or lose, the club is somewhere to go," she tells National Bingo.

The game of chance could prove life-changing for a 73-year-old Gorton man as well, it has been revealed.

He previously weighed 18 stone - but, following a £22,500 bingo win, is slimming down for a trip to Australia.

"I've lost three stone and now weigh 15 stone, but I still need to lose more," he tells the operating body.

But when he loses enough weight, he intends to travel first class because, he says, "if you've got it, flaunt it".
